Interesting film, however...

it somewhat misses the story. Harrison Bergeron is a satire. But what a lot of people miss is that it's a satire both of the conformist egalitarian society AND of ego centric individuals like Harrison. It satirizes BOTH extremes. You can see that in how Vonnegut describes him and what Harrison says and does. There's undeniable comic timing when he's shot and killed after he's twirling around in the air with the balerina.
