Toronto Film Festival!!

I was at the world premiere of Leila's Birthday at the TIFF today. I thought that it was a fantastic film. The story was simple, the main character sympathetic, and the overall production very satisfying. I thought it painted Palestine in a much different light than that which is portrayed in North American media, and it was generally a pleasant movie, teaching us to laugh even through the hardest times. A triumph :)
