Why set a movie North of Boston and Have California Accents in It?


No one has as hard "R"s as Thomas Haden Church, and hard "R"s is as rare among the denizens of Massachusetts as having a picnic at Revere Beach in February. I mean, there ARE some locals (Brownies they call 'em) that go for a dip in the Atlantic in February, but....

Right. The film should have been a documentary about your oversimplistic linguistic theories. That would have made it better.
