gregg wallace

Notice how he waits for the other judge to go first when tasting. Then he just copies what they say (always). He's just a fat useless twat.

I wouldn't completely agree. Michel does go first and usually gives constructive criticism regarding the flavours and textures of the dish as well as the technical skill that it demonstrates. Greg then usually follows with something like 'Cor, that is a larvely pudding!'

But he is the physical embodiment of the new masterchef, and so you can't really get rid of him.

What do you mean?

He doesn't cook; he only tastes. How is that the embodiment of the new masterchef? I'm missing your point.

I'd prefer to have another chef. I don't see what George brings to the table at all.

After watching MC:Goes Large, I have started watching The Professionals. I find Michel to be quite an intense judge almost scary compared to Gregg and that Australian judge.

"That's really yummy, my friend!"

As a presenter, he has a likability to him, but if we had two Gregg Walace's judging the competition wouldn't have a whole lot of validity.

They seem to have managed to find a balance with Michel doing the critique from a professional point of view and Gregg giving "the punters" feel on it.

I like the pair of them together.
