Owen/Stacey&Other Things

This is one of the silliest hook-ups on TV. Okay I understand her wanting to have a baby and Owen is a good person, but he has had a heart attack. I would hope with all of her choices, she would have picked someone with a better family health history. That's all I'm saying.

Stacey is a total ditz and sweet; Owen is brilliant and sweet. Opposites attract I guess, but they really didn't have any chemistry at all.

They wrapped it all up in a neat little package, but I guess the series finale you kinda have to.

I absolutely HATED the Grayson reincarnation arc. I just don't buy it. He should have stayed Grayson.

I agree: the actors playing Stacey and Owen had no chemistry. And I hate that the writers killed Grayson, by being shot, no less. I'm so done with people being shot on this show. I think Grayson's death and reincarnation is stupid and pointless. Did Jackson Hurst (Grayson) want out of the show?

I haven't reached that part of the series. But the thing that bothers me the most about the Owen/Stacy relationship is the fact that Stacy is Jane's best friend. Therefore, she should know better than to become involved with Jane's former flame in any way, shape or form that goes beyond friendship or being an acquaintance. That also includes her decision to choose Owen to be the sperm donor.

doesn't anyone put spoiler on the subject line anymore

I'm just discussing the exact same thing everyone else is. Don't gripe at me because your undies are in a twist over what's being discussed.

I think you should assume that there will be spoilers, as IMDB is a venue to discuss plot points for movies and TV shows.

I'm in the middle of season 6, at a point sometime after Owen and Stacy's first attempt at a relationship. The Owen/Stacy romance is just plain awful, and so is the, "Stacy wants to be a mother to a perfect child, and so she just has to have Owen's child," storyline.

I agree
this made me lose interest in this series
it was interesting and fun up to this point

The show should have ended after S4 with Jane and Owen actually getting married.
