What I found annoying about Jane

That she never stops and thinks how her behavior is seen by others.

For instance: on the beginning of season 2, she didn't bother ask herself "how would I react if it was the other way around - if I found out that Tony was married and he didn't tell me?" - of course she'd be hurt and maybe thought that he kept from her other stuff. That's how Tony felt, and it was only natural of him to stay away from Jane. And her "apology" for the ugly scene she made... she couldn't just say "I'm sorry", she had to launch a counter-attack. It's a wonder she and Tony got back together, even for a short while.

On "Surrogates", she offers Owen to get back together, as if nothing happened, just like that. Now, how would she react if she caught Owen kissing an old flame a few moments before their wedding? We know the answer: the way she behaved in "Crushed", thinking that Owen cheated on her, based on very flimsy evidence. She burned all his stuff without even waiting to hear his side of the story, and he barely persuaded her to get back together.

To be fair, the behavior of Tony and Owen was not 100% in both cases: Tony should have made certain someone replaced him in the bar hearing; Owen should have not lied to Jane about his medical examinations.

In the end of the series, IMO Jane acted so disgustingly: it was only natural of Owen and Kim to worry about her, thinking that "Ian" was taking advantage of her vulnerable state of mind, so soon after Grayson's death. Instead of rejoicing she has such good friends who care about her, she reached in such very manner.

What do you think about Jane's behavior in the above episodes?
