I agree with Gob Br. I've watched the documentary several times and the film has so many fictional storylines (including the mother, and the other Ale), that it makes it impossible to get a grasp on who the real Sandro is. Also, I think the film glossed over many of the scenes that would make Sandro more sypathetic as a victim, rather than seen only as a boy who refused help and trusted no one.
For instance, The Candelaria Massacre (church scene where friends where killed), really happened, but 27 kids were shot, 7 killed, and everyone believes it was the police!!!!
The movie makes it seems as a drug deal gone wrong, then never explains who the men were who shot the children.
Sandro saw his friends killed by police, therefore when police surrounded the bus 174, he knew exactly what was in store for him and stalled until the media came, hoping it would mean that in view of the whole world, his life would be spared.
