How does cop know where he is !?

Towards the end of the movie... The hacker is still "Searching" for his location when the commisioner hits a button and cancels it. How in the hell does he figure out where he is located at !? I saw this scene 3 seperate times and couldnt figure it out.

The hacker is actually pretending that he still hasn't tracked him because he doesn't want the police to catch the common man. The button Anupam Kher hits brings up the screen with the location.

I would have expected the hacker to get into hot water for that deception.
