First indian movie that I like

Having watched four indian movies placed on the top 250 before (Taare Zameen Par, Dil Chahta Hai, 3 Idiots and Rang de Basanti) and hating nearly all of them my expectation for this movie were extremely low. But this was actually quite good, although it is nowhere near its rating of 8.6 I believe this has to be the best indian movie of the top 250, atleast from a western perspective. There is no dancing, no Aamir Khan (thank god) and it is under two hours long.
I basically wrote this post since most indian movies get a lot of hate for being fanboy overrated and not deserving their place on the imdb top 250, but this movie is almost deserving of its spot.
