I may have missed it at the end of the movie, but was there any discussion about whether the experiment helped Michelle with her pre-diabetes issues? Have they ever had another child? Also, they mentioned keeping the bikes, but what about other changes? I'm sure the box of dirt went away. Interesting idea, though.
shareThey didn't discuss it at the end of the movie, but he said earlier on that the year reversed the health issues his wife was having. They got rid of the box and bring their scraps to the farmer's market for composting. His wife recently suggested getting another box though. (He did a Skype Q & A after our screening.) They still don't have a TV. His wife also mentioned at the end of the film that she wasn't going to eat meat, except the occasional hot dog, of all things. She said that they want to continue minimizing the amount of waste they produce and continue buying food locally (I think).
