Wrestlemania 26 Plans Revealed

This article actually shows Wrestlemania 26 plans for now. The article is 50 percent true and 50 percent prediction. The reason I say this is because the matches I mention below are being rumored for Wrestlemania but the build-up and outcome are prediction.

I feel that if everything goes down like how i mention than this year's Wrestlemania could be the best Wrestlemania we've seen for a long time! Before you begin reading here's a side note:

Warning: This article is long and it mentions a lot of plans for Wrestlemania 26, you could read the article in parts if you don't want to read all of it, thanks.

Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk: Jeff Hardy was supposed to face CM Punk at Wrestlemania but then Jeff decided to jump ship to TNA Wrestling. Now WWE has no plans for CM Punk. Another superstar who possibly doesn't have plans for Wrestlemania 26 is Rey Mysterio. Mysterio is Smackdown's #1 face and CM Punk is Smackdown's #1 heel.

Recently CM Punk's been shaving people's heads to declare that their straight edge. I don't know if WWE would do this seeing that Mysterio is loved by kids and teens everywhere but CM Punk could mention that Mysterio failed his drug test back in October of 2009 and that the fans still love him. CM Punk suggests that Mysterio should turn straight edge but Mysterio declines and hits a 619 on him.

The next week, CM Punk would challenge Rey Mysterio at a match for Wrestlemania 26 in a match where if Rey loses then he unmasks forever. Rey would then go on to say that his Straight-Edge society is a joke and that if CM Punk loses then Mysterio shaves Punk's head . Then they both got a mask vs hair match at Wrestlemania 26.

At Wrestlemania I'm sure that these two will have a sick match but at the end, Rey Mysterio would prevail and beat CM Punk. WWE doesn't want to make the same mistake WCW made by unmasking Rey. Rey wouldn't be as successful without his mask and Kane is a perfect example of a man whose mask was the reason he was successful.

Batista vs John Cena: This match was originally supposed to occur at Wrestlemania 25 but since Batista was injured it didn't work out. Batista and John Cena faced each other at Summerslam 2008 and they had a somewhat good match and Batista beat John Cena.

Both of these men don't have plans for Wrestlemania 26. I say that they face off one on one in a Smackdown vs Raw match. WWE have been having this match directly or indirectly for the past two years. Two years ago at Wrestlemania 24 it was Batista vs Umaga with Smackdown beating Raw. Last year it was Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker and Smackdown beat Raw once more.

Batista and John Cena could give it their all this year to represent Smackdown and Raw. Last time they faced off with both of them being faces but this time Batista has turned heel and is hell-bent on making an impact. Vince decides that he wants to punish Cena for disrespecting him on RAW and he's going to face Batista at Wrestlemania in a huge inter-promotional match between Raw and Smackdown.

John Cena would beat Batista in a very close match at Wrestlemania 26 to prevail the animal and win for his brand, Monday Night Raw.

Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase: The Legacy have been dominating Raw for the past year or so. Randy Orton helped Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes elevate to a whole new level. Rumor has it that Ted is due a face turn soon against none other than his Legacy leader, Randy Orton.

This Sunday at the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton's going to face Sheamus for the WWE Championship. One way WWE could turn Teddy face is screw Orton against Sheamus at the Rumble. That wouldn't work because Sheamus draws more heat from the crowd and people like Randy better. If not that then there's only one more option.

Since there are 6 spots open this year for the Rumble match, they could have Orton in the match as a surprise entrant. Ted and Randy make it until the final four until Ted eliminates Randy and betraying him.

The two men face off in Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. Ted would then betray Randy again and pin him with a roll-up thus eliminating him. The next Raw, Randy would tell Ted that if he betrays him one more time than bad things would happen to him. The next Raw, Randy would have a match against the WWE Champion and Ted would betray him once again causing Randy to get disqualified.

Then Ted has a match against his opponent on Raw and Randy attacks Ted viscously causing Randy to get enormous heat and Ted cheers. A mad Ted would then declare to Randy that at Wrestlemania they have a loser leaves Raw match at Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania, Randy would beat Ted but after Ted moves to Smackdown only good things happen with his career.

PS: I know that Cody would be out of the mix and everything so I expect him to be in Money In The Bank this year.

Chris Jericho vs Edge: This match is a maybe depending on Edge's status but this is how the foreshadowing began. Edge and Jericho won the Unified Tag Championships at The Bash. Edge was then diagnosed with an Achilles tendon injury which is a very serious injury perhaps even career threatening. Since Edge was out of action Jericho called Edge a weak partner and that he didn't deserve to be tag champion with him.

Recent reports say that Edge's rehab has been going very well and that he could even return as soon as The Royal Rumble this year. As we all might now, Edge is due a face turn as soon as he returns. The plan would be that if Edge returns at the Royal Rumble then he would eliminate a surprised Chris Jericho.

On Smackdown, Chris Jericho would mention that he's in the Elimination Chamber this year and that nobody could stop him from winning. Out comes Edge and he says that it's been a long time since he's been World Champion. He says that at Elimination Chamber he's going to win the Elimination Chamber and not Jericho.

At the actual Elimination Chamber, Chris Jericho would pin Edge after a huge codebreaker and Jericho would then get eliminated himself by another competitor. Edge would then challenge Jericho to a grudge match at Wrestlemania 26. Jericho would accept and they're both set for Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania I'm sure these two would put on a great show but Edge would win to further his career as a face.

Triple H vs Sheamus: Sheamus is currently being pushed big time as he is the reigning WWE champion only after being with the company for 3-4 months. Even though I don't like it, Sheamus probably will beat Randy at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View. Despite this I don't know if I'm sure this will happen or not but Triple H might win the 2010 Royal Rumble after eliminating John Cena or Shawn Michaels.

At Elimination Chamber, John Cena would challenge Triple H to a one on one match with the winner facing the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania 26. Triple H would accept and at Elimination Chamber he would beat Cena but as soon as Triple H would celebrate, out comes Sheamus who attacks Triple H with a huge bicycle kick to warn him for what's about to come. Later on that night Sheamus would retain his WWE Championship after pinning Kofi Kingston.

Then on Raw, Triple H tells Sheamus that he's not Randy Orton or John Cena and that he will destroy the Celtic warrior at Wrestlemania and win the WWE Championship. Sheamus says that he doesn't think so. The would brawl week after week once even in a parking lot until Vince Mcmahon says that that's enough and the two would have a hardcore match at Wrestlemania 26 for the WWE Championship.

I'm sure that Triple H would beat Sheamus at Wrestlemania. The reason is that I know that Sheamus isn't ready to retain a major championship on the grandest stage of them all and Wrestlemania is supposed to be a night of celebration so i plan on Triple H winning.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker: Many people have given their opinion on this match. Some people say that these two already put on a great match at Wrestlemania 25 and they don't have anything else to prove. Others say that this match is our saviour and that the only reason they would buy Wrestlemania is because of this match.

The whole buildup to this match began at the Slammy Awards when Shawn Michaels declared that he knows he can beat The Undertaker and that the last Wrestlemania was a fluke. Two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, The Undertaker confronted HBK and he said that he already proved he can beat Shawn Michaels and he declined a rematch at Wrestlemania. Shawn Michaels then said that he would win the Royal Rumble to challenge the dead man for the World Championship at Wrestlemania.

The Undertaker then said that he will be champion come Wrestlemania and he probably will. I see The Undertaker beating Rey Mysterio in a very good match at The Royal Rumble. Shawn Michaels would fail to win The Royal Rumble after being eliminated by Triple H in the final two. Shawn Michaels would come to Smackdown and say that The Undertaker isn't off the hook just yet and that he will find a way to face Undertaker.

Out comes Batista and he says that Shawn should go back to Raw because Batista will face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and end the streak. Teddy Long comes out and says that at Elimination Chamber Shawn Michaels and Batista would face each other one on one and the winner would face the World Champion at Wrestlemania.

HBK would come out on top at Elimination Chamber leaving Batista to face Cena. The Undertaker would retain his World Championship at Elimination Chamber after pinning Chris Jericho. On Raw, Shawn would say that it's been a very long time since he's been World Heavyweight Champion and that after he beats The Undertaker he'll kill two birds with one stone by becoming World Champion and ending the streak.

Even though The Undertaker is said to be working through injuries right now I still think these two will still put on match of the night. I don't think they can top last year's match but they will still have a phenomenal match. I predict this to be the last match of the night. On this historic night, The Undertaker will beat Shawn Michaels to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.

I don't like this HBK vs. Undertaker rematch one bit. It takes the excitement out of Undertaker's match at this year's Wrestlemania. It also brings in a bad sign that Undertaker could lose if he remains whc after the Royal Rumble, HBK wins the Rumble, face's Undertaker, all bets are off. HBK wins. Hope I'm wrong but awhile back I had a dream that HBK won at this year's Wrestlemania. Very bad sign.

yeah it looks like they're going ahead with Undertaker and HBK unless they bring HHH in to have the match instead. strangely Mania is the next PPV and he doesn't appear to have a match set up

Edge vs Jericho is imminent

Batista vs Cena is probably going to happen only now with the title on the line

Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon seems likely since now Cena and Batista have the title involved, the two feuds are differentiated and Bret must be cleared to wrestle. it'll probably be a street fight to avoid the need for Bret to take bumps

i don't know if MVP's impromptu matches against the Miz count as him using his number 1 contender's slot but they have the potential to have a great Mania match for the US title

Randy vs either Ted or Cody (maybe both) is likely too only it seems like Randy will be the face since the crowd pops for him whenever

as far as the women's matches they will probably be having two since this is the first Mania for the Divas title (they had that battle royal because it gave them an excuse to bring back other divas). Maryse is now champion so hopefully Gail Kim will get a rematch and win. Mickie, McCool and Beth have also been having their own little feud amongst each other so a triple threat is likely with Beth going over. that's probably the reason for McCool winning the belt on Smackdown. Beth would go over as a face by defeating McCool but not Mickie. or they could go with a winner-take-all tag match with the two champions on one team facing their respective challengers

There's something about flying a kite at night that's so unwholesome
