Wrestling is just not the same anymore!!!

Gone are the years when WWE was the most entertaining show on TV. Now don't get me wrong, I didn't start watching WWE during the Attitude Era, I started watching it in 2004, the time where there was Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, JBL and all those superstars.

I remember watching wrestling from then on, as I was the BIGGEST wrestling freak ever, I used to buy so much DVD's, order many PPV's {mostly Wrestlemania's} and watch Raw & Smackdown almost every week.

After watching wrestling for 5 years total, I just all of a sudden lost that passion that I had once had for wrestling. It just wasn't the same for me anymore because of so many top superstars leaving such as Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, JBL & the tragic deaths of Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit, wrestling just did not seem the same anymore, it wasn't as entertaining as it used to be.

Now when I look at what's happening in WWE today, I see that there's no Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, HHH or Finlay anywhere to be seen. WWE has seemed to run out of contenders for the World Title so they give the title to newcomer Jack Swagger which shows how far WWE has seemed to go off. So many new superstars today that I do not know what is happening.

I didn't happen to watch Wrestlemania 25 {which btw was the first Wrestlemania I didn't order}, but reading the reviews I heard that the main event and most of the show was a let down and dissapointing. This is a shame because Wrestlemania was the epitome and pinnacle of what wrestling really stands for and what we viewers tune in to watch. It's just sad realising that once what you loved so much when you were younger, has now gone as you grow older. I will always love wrestling as a sport, but from now on, I just can't watch it anymore.

Does this happen to you hardcore wrestling fans? Is this why most people stopped watching wrestling after the Attitude Era? If anyone feels the same way or just wants to leave any feedback positive or negative towards my post, feel free, I am open to criticism. Thank you.

I definitely agree that the titles don't mean much anymore, which is a shame. Back in the day when it was still the WWF being champion actually meant something. I think when the WWE bought WCW and ECW they didn't get rid of enough championships.
