I watched this last night after watching Pathogen. Loved them both. It was fun watching the movie, then seeing what went into making it. Made for a nice double feature.
It makes me wish I had gotten into film making....
Anyway, I can't wait to see whats next for Emily Hagins.
Just saw the documentary last night.
Thought it was wonderful.
Started out as a girl making her dream movie (quite literally) then as the filming went on you could see the relationship between her and her mother start to break down.
It started to appear that it was more her mother living her dreams through her daughter as she slowly tried to take more and more control of the filming and editing process.
I thought it was revealing her to be the typical pushy mother. Then came that final interview with the mother about her miscarridge and how she nearly lost Emily as well. And how she vowed to give her duaghter any opertunity.
Quite moving.
