Just Saw Temple Grandin Speak

I was at a conference and I saw temple grandin speak. She spoke about Autism and the way it affects her brain and then how she came up with her concepts for animal handling. She spoke to many parents about their autistic children, and resources they can use.

After I saw her speak I decided to watch the movie, and I have to say clare danes does a really great job. She spoke only once about the movie and said clare did an amazing job and said the way the film portrayed how she thinks is accurate, there are some story inaccuracies that she cited but overall she was pleased with the film.

She spoke about how she writes books as well. Most of the books on animal handling she has wrote herself but when it comes to other books she writes most of it but has a hard time putting collected sentences together and that is where she gets help but all the ideas are her own.

The most important thing she said was that for autistic children, a life and career should be first, autism second.
