Meh, I thought it was great. A very tender story about adults who are still shy and vulnerable.
Philip Seymour Hoffman once again shows his love for stage as he adapts this from the theatre, and he did a great job considering it's his directorial debut.
Me too. To say the least, I am very surprised at the relatively low rating and negative reviews. I gave this a solid 7.5/10.
Jack Goes.... was actually pretty clever. I docked it some for sloppy editing in places and a few issues with the script.

I thought it was ADORABLE!
Not for general audiences, though. It's a movie for grown ups...like most plays are.
Acting was superb, and the story was such an interesting mix of whimsy (Jack and Connie) and angry disappointment (the other couple) and WEIRDNESS.
I thought it was very well done. Difficult to watch at times but quite poetic and touching
I thought it was a pretty good movie; funny and serious at the same time. Great character study. Not every movie can be shoot 'em up, car chases and explosions all the time. The four main characters were perfect for the roles they played.
shareDefinitely enjoyed this. I had been watching a few explosive things prior to catching it so it was a welcome change to come back down to planet earth with this story and these characters.
I've got to fess up and say that I love nearly everything PSH puts his hands on so I might be biased.
