This is, almost certainly, due mostly to my incredible soft spot for Katja Kassin. But her story wound up weighing on my mind after the film.

How sad is her depiction in this movie? I mean, not to say the documentary would portray anything but the documented truth I guess.

But she fills us in on starting in the industry, makes it pretty well, drops Spiegler, starts prostituting (pretty much), and finally, we're left with a blurb about her renouncing her famous stage name and the MySpace quote "I want to live under a rock"...

She's still making movies it seems. So, I dunno. Just kinda seemed like it was the second sort of "sad story" in the documentary besides Mia Rose's.

- very sad indeed. I interpreted her 'living under a rock'; as regret/remorse.

Katja is a pretty tough and clever woman and like anyone else, she had/ has her ups and downs...I don't think her depiction on the movie was sad, it was what she was living at that time...
She is doing good now, still doing movies and she is not hidding under the rock anymore. I think she is happy now.

Regarding Mia Rose, she still pretty young and she might need some more years to know what she really wants to do with her life.

What did Mia Rose start off as? A student desperate for money etc? I don't think I'll get to watch this movie, so fire away with spoilers etc.
