what is this?

is this like a tv spin off or a short or something

reply

"Harold & Kumar go to Amsterdam" is a short that can be found on the "Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" DVD and Blu-Ray as part of the DUDE, CHANGE THE MOVIE! special feature.

It tells the story of what would have happened if Harold and Kumar simply made it to Amsterdam without incident, instead of having to deal with the whole Guantanamo Bay thing. Definitely a must-see for all "Harold & Kumar" fans.

A little slow, aren't we?

reply

"so why not make the movie like that in the first place?"

The entire thing is only ten or fifteen minutes, maximum. Kumar meets a girl he falls in love with, she vaccuums topless for him. Harold finds his girl, they end up getting married. Kumar decides to stay in Amsterdam and Harold leaves for New Jersey. At the end there's a note that says something to the effect of, "Thanks dick, your choice has led to the breakup of Harold and Kumar."

Thanks for the info. I just assumed it was a full length movie...No wonder I had such a hard time trying to find a torrent or rapid share for it! Looks like I'll have to get the Guantanamo Bay DVD.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I remember that I went into it not expecting much. I am hoping there are more of these in the future.
