Not really a political comedy film

I watched this last night. It is marketed as a political what-if comedy, but it is actally more of a romantic comedy and sometimes quite a serious film (especially the second half). I was expecting great things after the trailer and actors like Ata Demirer, Vildan Atasever, Sumer Tilmac and Ali Dusenkalkar. A real wasted opportunity from Gani Mujde.

I agree that it was a wasted opportunity for Gani Mujde. I thought they could do so much with a plot around "What if Turkey's founder Kemal Ataturk wasn't born". The movie wasn't funny, or it wasn't even a good romantic comedy. All the love scenes seemed slightly fake and extremely useless. I felt like I was always looking for the main event to happen. The only time I got excited was towards the end when Osman Bey got a bit excited himself( people who have seen the movie probably knows which part I am talking about) and even that part and the spirit of that part lasted so short.
In the end, none of the parts left me satisfied.
