Accents

Isn't it weird of the casting directors to choose American actors to do voices with European accents instead of casting European actors? Don't get me wrong, I do think that Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Jessica Chastain & Martin Short all did a great job (given the sub-par script) with their vocal performances, but it just seems a little weird. (Correction: I just realized that Martin Short is Canadian not American)
