I'd like to know when this film will be released in the United States. Anyone know?

theatrical October 31st
will start limited

I just saw a screening of this movie at Chapman University last night. The director says it should be out in February 2009. Very powerful movie. Q & A after had many tearful women giving thanks to the director and actors. The 2 screenwriters were there and the music composer and the actors that played the Aunt and the Husband of the stoned woman. POWERFUL EVENING.

Well if they're aiming for an oscar, they can have a limited release this year and go full lenghth the next, and the film can be eligible for nominations. Oscar rules accept that I believe.

Wow...talk about the timing. With all that's going on in Iran this movie could get a lot of attention.

Talk about timing is right. And yes, I hope it gets a lot of attention for the same reason- which I'm sure it will.
