Does it really matter?

Does it matter whether or not she was guilty of adultery?

Why Richard, it profits a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world... but for Wales?

I can totally see your point with this question, and I think that we all agree that eve if she was guilty, her death was barbaric and evil but, I think that her being guilty would have lessened the empathy for her. I'm not saying that it's okay for the audience to feel that, it's just human nature. Everyone would just blame her for foolishly committing the crime knowing what the law is. Of course adultery ahouldn't be punished that way but, it is and she would seem incredibly reckless to put her life at risk that way.

A good example would be if aomeone is killed while robbing a bank, people wouldnt feel as much are sympathy for them if theyre killed because they were suspected of robbing a bank.

Of course anyone would be against killing an innocent person. The real issue here is the inhuman laws and punishments that aren't acceptable for anyone, wether theyre good or bad. anf the possibility of executing an innocent person should be just one of many reasons why sharia law should be abolished.

A woman has to prove everything, including her innocence. A man has to prove nothing. That is what the film quoted. Inhumane does not even touch the matter.
