Steering away from the obvious James Brown option, it just doesn't have enough footage!
There must be so much of it laying around on old tapes that needs to be put out.
The bill Withers track is amazing, but that wasn't all he did?
Fania Allstars - need to see more?
Even the skit footage with Manu Dibango - all of it, damn!

There must be so much more of the event and atmosphere that can be released.

I assume they'll put out more footage depending on how this movie does on DVD. I loved most of the performances (James Brown in his prime...Love it...) and I'd love to see more.

The DVD has some deleted scenes that include additional performances, including Sister Sledge. It's all so good I can't imagine why they cut them out.
