I heard a rumour ages ago that they were going to ask lance henriksen to reprise his role as Bishop in the vg. It makes sense and there are numerous way's Bishop could return:

This would be very cool. It's not really all that far-fetched....Henriksen is definitely a fan of the series; he always seems willing to go to bat for the franchise. He even narrated the audio book version of Alien 3 (lol)...and did a very good job of it I might add. Having him in the game would definitely give it a lot of weight. Here's hoping.
Picked up a funny little tidbit on the commentary track from the Aliens DVD. Right after Bishop's line, "I may be synthetic, but I'm not stupid," he gives a little half smile and looks away awkwardly. Henriksen apparently added this in himself, explaining it to Cameron that, to paraphrase, "Bishop just made his first joke, but he wasn't sure if it landed or not." Cameron stated that this is an example of Henkirsen's method of "finding little ways of getting into his characters," which is what makes him such a good actor and why Cameron uses him so often.

I have nothing against Guy Pearce but Bishop he ain't!

Guy Pearce didn't play an android in Prometheus, that was Michael Fassbender(David). Best performance in the movie, creepy yet likable. Sort of a combination between Ash & Bishop.
