You only pre-order games if it has the letters G, T & A in the title. If a game has a review embargo, you don't touch it until at least one week after the release.

Hahaha yeah I'd say that's fair. I used to pre-order games all the time when I was younger. The last few years I haven't really seen the point. I haven't even pre-ordered GTA V yet and I rushed out to pre-order IV almost right away. If there was a limited collector's edition I may have considered it.

Oh, I'd also add games that start with the words 'Red Dead'. Never been a fan of Westerns so didn't expect much going in. It's currently my 'Game of This Generation', although I'm guessing GTA V will replace it later this year.

I've been gaming on & off since I started playing my father's 'Intellivision' back in the early 80's. I actually came to this generation of consoles rather late (2008) & I've only pre-ordered one game (L.A. Noire). I enjoyed the story but not the 'game', so from now on it's only GTA & RDR that gets my money up front. I've paid for V outright on Xbox from an online store & put a down payment for the PS3 version at my local 24hr supermarket. I know that sounds a little crazy & It's the only game I'd ever buy twice. God these next 6 months are going to drag.
