Is anyone else enjoying this new drama?

I have to say, the BBC have done really well lately, first Apparitions and now Moses Jones.

This really does make up for the faux par which was BoneKickers.

The ensemble nature of it really helped to distinguish it from most cop shows. It was gripping because there were so many different perspectives on the crime: Cops, criminals, victims and everybody inbetween.

My guess is that Moses and Solomon will turn out to be the key players.

I really enjoyed the first episode, although parts of it were hard to watch.

Apparitions didn't make up for Boneheads.

I will have to change what I wrote, here goes...'In my opinion, Apparitions more than made up for the faux par that was Bonekickers'.

I agree, Moses is the star and Eamon Walker who plays Solomon is too big and good an actor not to shine through.

Glad someone else enjoyed the show.

It's a good show but it will receive poor ratings because it will be considered by most people as a "black" show.

The Toker still expects Eamon Walker to put on his camp "Marigold" voice in whatever he is in.

A Carrot.

Thought last night's episode was good, if pretty uncompromising. I hadn't realised it was only a 3-parter. Shame.

Good to see the BBC pulling its finger out with a decent classy cop drama.

Pity Eamon Walker hasn't got a bigger part he's a top actor but glad to see Dennis Waterman has ditched his dodgy denches in his part as the sleazy boxing promter.

faux par
It's too bad that Padraig Harrington couldn't make up for his faux par at the Masters last week.

I'll look into it, as soon as I've checked out some orange groves.
