why do they have an american playing a british guy, and then a british guy playing an american. it doesnt make any sense to me!!!!

What are you on about??? The guy who plays Nigel (Rik Young) The Englishman was actually born in London, England, so where you get that he's American playing British I don't know!!!!
But as for the accent's I'm assuming that the film makers obviously didn't want any british people to watch this film - Yes fine that Nigel is British, however he claims to have come from Bristol - I'm sorry I spent nearly 23 years of my life living in Bristol and in all that time I've NEVER heard anyone talk with that accent!!! It's appauling!!!
