Is the a prequel, sequel, spin off of the movie from 2004 with the same name ?

WAP: NC, is a complete spinoff sequel to the 2004 movie. After reading the synopsis, the characters and the plot is the spinoff, but the hole earthchild thing was in the first movie, which makes this movie a spinoff sequel.

The most ridiculous thing is that at the beginning it says "Based on Without A Paddle"; I have never seen a "sequel" with such a mention. Maybe the, gulp, franchise was (unbelievably) purchased by a new group to remake? *Headslap*

Watching it right now on TBS. There are takes with Jerry Rice that I'd pray weren't the best available. Listen for how he says "got him started in the environment" it's like he's placing periods not just mid-sentence but in the middle of words.
