shareI've read most of the discussions about this movie, and I have yet to see one person mention the allegory between the movie and The Divine Comedy. Come on, Buscemi's character's surname is Alighreri, his guide is Virgil, and in the end, they meet Lou Cypher (Lucifer)?
shareI got the Lucifer reference immediately but who was the actor? He had those good old fashioned Hollywood features. Just curious, he looks vaguely familiar.
Great movie btw and love the allegories.
Matthew McDuffie. His character credit is listed as "Lucypher".
The movie does not make a big first impression, but it is loaded with quirks, and has all the makings of a future cult movie.
