Emiliano's mom and his boss

I think there is a history between them. I remember when Emiliano's mother visited him at work and she was in his office we could hear Emiliano's boss speaking to the secretary. She heard his voice and looked up and around as if she wanted to recognize that voice. It is obvious that Emiliano's boss is important to him, yet we know so little about him. I wonder if it'll turn out that he is Emiliano's father. Diana does not care at all for Rafael and treats him so poorly that I wouldn't be surprised if she had had a secret love of her own just like Carlota. The problem I see with my own theory is that Diana seems to be the kind of woman that knows everyone and everything about them. She would have known if an ex-lover was living in her town. I don't know how big Real del Monte is but I can't imagine her not knowing that the owner of one of it's companies was an ex. Any thoughts on this?

I think Diana needs a job. She has a major-league sense of entitlement about the lifestyle she wants and is unwilling to understand that merde happens. Now that her husband is having business problems she wants to kick him to the curb.

Is Emiliano's boss his real father? Good question; I need more data, though.

Several things have happened that make me think there is a connection between Orlando and Diana. I could be wrong, but I can't shake the feeling.

1. As already mentioned, Diana reacted strangely when she heard Orlando's voice while visiting Emiliano at his office. Not to mention the suspenseful music that was played.

2. Orlando once mentioned to Emiliano something about a lost love and child.

3. During one of his arguments with Diana, Rafael said to her (Please excuse my spelling in Spanish. It's not very good)--"...eres libre para inmendar el error que cometiste al casarte con un perdedor que cuando se casó contigo no te puso ninguna condición apesar de..." Diana did not let him finish (she told him to shut up) and was about to slap him but he held her off. He also said, "Te acepte sin condición. Alamejor tu no me amabas y yo solo era tu mejor opción. Talvez la unica opción."

4. Orlando compliments Rafael on his son and says "Si mi hijo está en este mundo, me encantaria que se pareciera a el (Emiliano). Exactamente como el." Then they played that suspenseful music again.

Any thoughts on this?

I completely agree with you. I have always thought that Emiliano was Orlando's son from what you have mentioned and let me add one more to your list:

5. On tonight's episode, Diana was having a talk with Romina and mentions that Rafael wasn't her first. That she was with a previous man but he wasn't able to offer her the life that she wanted so she grabbed on to Rafael and stayed with him.
