could be good

this actually seems like a pretty good concept for a movie, but i doubt they'll really take advantage. i expect it to be a typical farce of the porno/hollywood industry. what would be really interesting is if they succeeded in making the point that the only difference between porn and hollywood is a good script.

maybe not even that sometimes. i mean, there are actual movies these days that feature REAL sex. and it's not considered porn. so what's the difference? sometimes those movies are still pretty bad.

i could easily see hollywood getting behind a movie with real sex that is helmed by some "visoinary" director (michael winterbottom (see: 9 songs)? lars von trier? gus van zant?) and an actor/actress that was "daring" enough to do real sex in a film. (think about halle berry and diane lane and how much acclaim they got for graphic (though not real) sex scenes).

it'd be hilarious if this movie does well at poking fun at that.
