Don't care

I read once that after the success of his earlier films like The Rock, Con-Air, he decided to pick movies that he finds interesting and not ones that are going to be block busters, I like Nick, he when the script is good he does a great job of acting, I liked Ghost Rider, but not Ghost Rider 2, 2 seamed like he purposely went overboard on the acting and the scenes didn't seem to make sense. So now he picks movies that seem to have a moral background?? (I don't know have the words coming to me to explain it.), but people still go to see these movies because he's in it, so he must be doing something right.?

Actually he chose artistically when he had the finances to super not doing blockbusters. Since his finances have went to crap, he's pretty much just done anything that's come his way.

Hey, even the WORST part in the worst movie beats being a greeter at Walmart.

Not that I thought this movie was bad. Not at all. I thought the movie, Cage, and Yelchin were great.

I agree. And Yelchin should be a superstar by now. Don't know what's keeping that from happening yet.

I think Mr. Yelchin is a phenomenal actor. I've watched hundreds of movies and observed hundreds of actors, and there are some great ones out there. But I've never seen an actor with such a range of acting ability and a range of talent--acting, singing, guitar, piano, dancing, voicing animated characters, and even photography for crying outloud.

His talent has been recognized and he's received accolades from some of the most respected actors and directors in the business. It's incredible that he's done 39 movies, many as a lead or title character, and he's only 26 years old. I heard Tavis Smiley state that he's got a resume that actors twice his age would envy.

I think if he wants to be a superstar, he'll be one. But judging from some of his interviews, he seems more interested in being an actor--unlocking characters and telling stories. As a result, he's done a lot of independent films that don't get wide distribution due to budget constraints. That doesn't seem to bother him, though.

Mr. Yelchin also seems to be a decent human being. He seems self effacing and is generous with his compliments regarding others in his vocation. He's extremely intelligent and articulate. He loves his parents and appreciates the sacrifices they made to get him here to the states. He wants them to be proud of him. I have no doubt that they are very proud indeed.

I wish him continued success both in acting and in life.
