I'm really rooting for Nic Cage

This looks like a role that's really appropriate for him, and from the few scenes of him in the trailer, you can tell he's given his all here. I actually found Anton Yelchin overacting more than Nic. I hope this movie is marketed well and does well.

I hope this does well too. Let's hope that the behind the scenes drama hasn't ruined a good movie and make it feel choppy.

If it doesn't, I'm sure he'll have 5-10 right around the corner in the next month or two.

Meh, me too; but, it looks (and feels?) very contrived - from the get-go. There's a scene, where he's walking to his car and there are three people in the background shoving fallen leaves from the side of the road - to a couple of meters behind.. What does it mean, the production can pay for 3 people; they don't have a leaf-blower, or bags to put the leaves into? Is it a metaphor for the Holy Trinity (lol)? Whatever, lets see if I can get through the rest of the movie..:)

He seems to take any role going, utter trash movie

It was good! Nic had some great mental moments in the movie, felt authentic. Anton did solid too as his trusted sidekick.

agreed, but this is not that role.

He had a good part in "Joe", which was his best movie in ages. I always hope for a decent movie with him in it, and am always let down. There are maybe four or five really good movies starring Cage, and dozens of awful ones. this one is just okay.

Agree, but I didn't get through all of 'Joe' ~ lost my interest for some reason. Maybe I should give it another watch.

I liked 'The Weather Man'.

But films like 'Pay The Ghost' ~ gag
