... but it isn't coming anywhere near me anytime soon. Does anyone know if this will change? I live in Mississippi and have been stalking theater showtimes in New Orleans hoping that it'll at least make it there, but... nope. I get so sick of the movies that I would actually like to watch only getting limited release. Sorry, but, a Shakespeare adaptation gets a limited release while Jackass 3D is STILL disgracing theaters all over the country? Something is wrong with our culture.

I agree, something is wrong with culture generally, with regard to film.

It was released to theatres in Europe, but it went straight to HBO in the U.S., and even that happened a year after it was finished.

It was supposed to be released in Toronto in December, but now there is no sign of it anywhere. It was postponed and then disappeared in the "coming soon" lineup. Very disappointing. I have no idea where or when it can be seen. I was looking forward to it. How could Julie Taymor disappoint?

I really don't understand how such a great looking movie has not been a huge deal. Okay, I'm a Shakespeare nut, but I definitely think more people would watch this if they'd release it where we can see it!
