I find it funny that its supposed to be in NYC and the number that he gives the girl is area code 217. Thats in central Illinois. I looked twice and made sure it wasnt 212 on the paper, but it was indeed 217 lol. Of course the rest of the number is fictitious. We all know 555-xxxx is the standard. ;) But the number was 1-217-555-5788.

Maybe he has a cellphone and originally lived and got it in Illinois. This is pretty common these days (and annoying if you are calling the person from a landline and don't have free long distance). Still, you might add this to the trivia section, since it's kind of funny.
