*beep* IDIOTS!
It is a PG Comedy action movie with a sweet nice story for the family to love, not a R rated film with a high budget such as his previous films.
Why is everyone hating on it?
1) The fake accents were to sound funny on purpose for comedy. Duh!
2) the girl was meant to be anoying at first, get over it!
3) its a lovable family story, anyone who hates on it is a troll
This is no place for trolls and critics, its meant to me a funny warm, heartfelt film, not a brilliant action masterpiece.
I sound childish in this post, but jesus christ everyone is bashing on a FAMILY movie that is accually funny, entertaining, and lovable!

It was Predictable, unfunny and boring.
Nothing was new and the whole movie was a cliché.

I'd say it was about as funny as any other Jackie Chan movie. If you liked what he brings to the table in any other film then there's no reason to rate this movie any less. Not sure what you were expecting. when you say nothing new. Again With a Jackie Chan movie what you see is what you get. He's not a terrible actor but he has always had limitations that work for his style that I have no problem with.

The guys charisma and comedy has always been through his fighting. It's what made his part in the Rush Hour movies become a hit in the US. The kids were everything I'd expect them to be. Kids. Bratty, Loud, judgmental teenagers, the little one everything expected too.

I think you probably went into the movie fully ready to call it predictable, and you sat there picking it a part the whole time instead of giving it a real chance. that's your business but if you kept that up you're one wasting your own time.

I enjoyed it.
My first thought was "this is a lot like The Pacifier" which I enjoyed a lot as well.
I know its full of corny jokes, most kid/ family movies are. You've got to judge a movie by its intended audience and my nephews and nieces love it, so task accomplished.
