I think the OP's got that bit wrong... I didn't see Taye there at the end. I could be wrong, though.
shareTaye wasn't there. Neither was Idina. She had planned to be there and even re-organized her touring schedule but then they changed filming dates again...so she couldn't rearrange her schedule again. Taye was probably with her.
shareI'm thinking that Adam and Idina weren't there because that year they were in London doing the Chess concert. Not sure whether the timing of Chess meant that they couldn't make it to this performance or whether they had other things happening.
shareIf I remeber correctly the reason why Adam wasn't there was becaust he gave away his ticket. There was a contest that Broadway.com did about fans of rent and how they help their communities and it was a tie between 2 people and adam gave his ticket away so both could go. Now I am sure Adam could have gotten another ticket but thats what I heard.
