Where is everyone seeing this?

I saw the trailer on the IMDb trailer page and was surprised this had already been released. Can someone tell me where I can see it? Is it online?

It's not stealing. Actually it's just a copy. The original stays where it is.

Well, there is no FBI where I'm from. And even if i did call the ..let's say police, they wouldn't do much about it because it's not illegal to own a private copy. It's illegal to upload and share, but it's not to download. A grey area, i know - but pinned down to stealing, it just isn't.

It's on Netflix instant streaming currently and has been about a month. It is definitely worth a viewing, 7/10.

On the issue of stealing, I would have to agree that watching this movie by illegally downloading it is stealing. The film's distribution company/companies own the right to watch the film. They license the right to show the film temporarily to different theaters, channels, and websites. They also sell DVDs, Blu-rays, and digital copies that are not temporarily licensed, but are only for private viewing purposes. You can try to justify it all that you want, but it is theft of someone else's property (even if it is digital/intellectual rather than physical).

So you're drinking the studio kool-aid without a thought. With video on demand, tv sales, and DVD's, a film has to be an overbudgeted box office bomb not to at least break even. Studios are making lots of money thanks to their releasing reruns of previously profitable films over and over again. Oh, they have different titles and stars, but the car chases, bullets, and explosions prove they're rehashes of the movies we've seen before.
When the day comes that copyright holders make reasonable concessions to product users, maybe I'll 'honor' their demands not to view their product for free when it's available. And maybe they should stop using taxpayer dollars to enforce their copyrights. And maybe they could release a DVD that doesn't have seven messages from lawyers before the film starts.

Well, I'm in the UK where it had a very limited cinema run and came out on DVD this week. Not sure why we got it before the States for a change!

It's always great the way people 'justify' themselves for downloading films for free. It gets more and more elaborate. "I'm sorry officer, I just did it because everyone else is doing it, no 'arm done sir! I wouldn't have seen it anyway, me stealing this gives it publicity. It's a fair cop but society's to blame, blar blar, blar."
Oh it just goes on and on.

I agree. Although, I don't watch movies online that I could go see at a local theater or buy later at Target/Walmart.

Movies like this that get played at film festivals and then get a limited release don't get played at a theater near me. Blue Valentine, for example, showed in Atlanta...3 hours away from where I live. But I really, really, wanted to see it. Although it ended up getting released at places like Target because it gained publicity for Michelle William's Oscar nomination and the original NC-17 rating. As for Brotherhood, it supposedly started a theater run in February...but my city never saw it.

I'm a college student who only has basic cable, so I can't watch it on Netflix or any premium channel. Should I just not be able to watch it then?
