Does this cross the line from dark and uncomfortable to outright wrong?

Censorship is never a good thing for art but this film really takes it to the line.

What do you think about this movie and its content being suitable for general release?

I had heard how crazy the movie was supposed to be so I was prepared when I watched it, but it never got to the point where I thought it reached any pioneering levels of violence or depravity. In it's sickest scene the violence was more implied than graphic... had that been more explicitly shown then it might have crossed the line. Wouldn't want any children watching this but adults should be able to see it.

Interesting about what you say about implied rather than graphic, that leaves it to the imagination of the viewer.

I agree that the movie never takes it over the line itself but it asks the viewer to do that and whilst that is admirable in the form of art it is rather distressing in those not aware of what the movie's content is prior to watching it.

Says a lot about being informed and prepared prior to viewing it - which is probably my best take from this being art.

Chances are if one is searching for a Serbian horror film the only people that might be caught off guard would be Serbians.
