H. Design Minneapolis - Brian

Hey y'all,

What do you think was up with that owner? Seriously. It's not just that he has no idea what it takes to run a salon; I can understand that. A lot of people think a business like this runs itself.

But, he was so emotionless and completely deaf to what anyone said to him. It was weird. It was as if he was completely disconnected from reality.

He truly appears to be a bit of a sociopath.

I loved when his stylist introduced himself and pointed out that he actually never even MET Brian before.

Oh! And, charging his staff for the tools they need to do the job?! WTF?! Can you imagine working in a restaurant and having to pay for the food you use? Or, in an office and having to pay the boss every time you need a pen or a manilla folder or a staple! And, keeping a moron receptionist who leaves people on hold until they hang up and to whom the notion of scheduling another appointment is "not a foreign concept" - keeping HER on because he thinks she's pretty. Wow.

The man simply doesn't get that their job is to cut, color and style hair while delivering a pleasant experience and his job to give them everything they need to do that! The man has serious issues.

that was really a waste of Tabitha's time.
I almost made a post asking if any other salons flopped that badly in the 6 week visit.

He was very clearly not people-oriented, so it would not be a surprise if the salon shut its doors for good. What can you expect from a "stocks and numbers" guy? The sad thing is there are a lot of salons who would've taken Tabatha's advise in a heartbeat just to keep their living.
