I was just reading an article in the paper about the reality shows on Bravo TV, and they mentioned Tabatha's show. They described her as "40 year old Tabatha Coffey, a hairstylist from Australia..." WOW!
She looks much older than 40 to me - I would have guessed 48-50. I have a feeling she did a bit too much partying in her 20s and 30s to make her look much older than she is.
I doubt she is as old as 50, but there's probably some....fudging...of her age at 40.

She looks rather rough for her age. According to her bio, she was born on May 17, 1969. I really find that hard to believe.

women lie about their age all the time without even needing to be in the entertainment bizz, so i usually take a woman's given age as a rough estimate.. i would've guessed her to be in her mid 40s..

No one is comparing her any of the housewives. Frankly, I've never seen a full episode of any of those shows.
If she is indeed 40, she's done a lot of severe damage to her skin, through sun exposure and likely smoking as well.

I noticed on last night's ep (11-17) the crew put an awful lot of makeup on her for her close-ups. Especially around her eyes.

i think this thread is harsh. she looks 40 to me, she's very sharp and sexy, great body and cute face. i think it's just her unique look and eyes that might give off an older appearance, but to me she comes off very modern and in her late 30's. early 40's at most.

I still say she's in her late 40s, pushing 50. However, if she is really 40 and looks this bad, I wouldn't admit to it. I would claim I'm older!

There may be some fudging, I agree, but I place her around 40-45. She doesn't seem to have a lot of wrinkles/lines, but looks tired. I notice sometimes she looks more well rested than others. Plus, she has her original eye lids, which may add "age" to her face.
shareI think she just looks like a 40 year old who spent a lot of time in the sun. I know of a family who lived in Australia for 25+ years and they said using sunscreen wasn't a huge issue for most Aussies for a long time.

shareI just looked it up on Wikipedia and her birth date is listed as May 17, 1967, with a "citation" next to it, meaning it's unverified. Her eyes seem puffy to me, she may be a drinker (and a smoker) who knows. Also, she may have insomnia.

I seriously doubt she is 40 (well 41 now). More like she took about 10 years off of her real age.
If she REALLY is 40 - then something is wrong with her. I know a LOT of people 40-something; and not one looks like that.
IF (and I mean IF) she is 41, then it's probably a combination of things like perhaps smoking (at one time, if not now), excessive tanning and BOTCHED surgery.
What makes her apparent age so remarkable is that she has OBVIOUSLY had artificial cosmetic procedures; and she still looks old.
NOW - don't get me wrong. If she's really 41 and just looked like that naturally, I would not criticize. I would sympathize. But what I criticize is if she has removed years from her stated age in an attempt to FOOL us; or if she messed herself up with foolish things like smoking, tanning and surgery.

After watching Season 3 kick off last night, all I can say is she looks terrible - for whatever reason(s) - for 41. I'm still guessing she's at least 50.
They had many close-ups of her last night, and she does not have the face of a 41 year old. Even when she was in her pink PJs (which is more revealing than her black attire) - she has the body of an older woman.
I think Tabatha is in her early 50's too. I watch most of the episodes online in HD, and in high def you can see that she has an age spots on her face. It's obvious she does a lot of tanning, but still the majority of people don't start getting age spots until they are in their 50's or 60's. She doesn't have a lot of wrinkles, but there's no way she's 40. I'd put her birth year closer to 1957.

It's funny - there's another TV show I presently watch, and the lead actress in it has been around for about twenty-five years at least (on/off TV shows). I've always known the actress to be my age, which would put her at 47. Now imbd says she was born in 1978, which would have made her 15 when she first started on TV. Sure. She looks like she's pushing 50, but she's only 33.

On the season finale, they showed a close-up of her hands when Martino 'proposed' to her. If you pause the picture, it's obvious she has old looking hands. Granted she worked with her hands for some 20+ years, but this was a sign of aged hands, not hard worked. No way was this woman born in 1969 - no way.

I was flipping through the channels late the other night and caught the episode about the children's salon, it seemed mildly amusing so I decided to watch. I've never seen this program before but I assumed the host was relatively up in age.
In my opinion Tabatha looks like a 60 year old women who's had some bad plastic surgery . Thats what I had initially assumed.
Damn.
