I agree. And I couln't believe he painted the salon back to that ugly color what a slap in the face.

Overall, it was one complete waste of time - for Tabatha and the viewers. Even when they tried to put in 'shocking moments', nothing at all was shocking. Just dull and pointless.

kikyoCE I was JUST coming on here to post that same thing. What an a-hole to re-paint that and the pink outside was just tacky, south Fl or not. I mean it must have cost him some $ to repaint it and what Tabitha had done was perfect. Indeed a slap in the face.

I'm surprised Tabatha was being so nice. The salon looked like a bunch of colors threw up in it. It looked so cold and damp. What a moron for repainting it. None of the stylists learned anything and everything went back to how it was. What a waste.

i don't really see the big deal - the guy didn't like the color so he repainted.. i personally liked tabatha's color choice for the inside and thought it made the salon seem bigger & brighter, but i don't see how it was a "slap in the face" to repaint or how it means that "none of the stylists learned anything"..

Because they didn't follow her advice. Repainting and the stylists not learning anything have nothing to do with eachother. They repainted and didn't take her techniques into account..total waste of time.

If that's true, then I find that episode to be one of the more interesting episodes ever. Not everyone is going to take her advice or at least all of her advice.

I just watched the episode and besides being repainted...The staff and the owner still seemed focused on being professional and diligent which Tabatha commented on...

I totally agree. He was boring when he was acting like an idiot. I personally think it was all for show for the show.

All though this episode we kept trying to guess if the one fuller-figured stylist at his salon was transgendered. She seemed very nice and her mannerisms and way she spoke were very precise.

After watching again and listening closely to the voice, I'm pretty sure she is. I'd go to her.

Yeah, the guy was a total tool. Drinking on the job? Are you kidding me?

But - if he didn't like the colors that were painted there, its HIS salon, why should he have to have colors in there he doesn't like? Tabitha was just suggesting a color/color scheme to him by repainting everything and toning stuff down. The inside didn't look that terrible after he repainted it.

Is it just me? I really liked the hot pink color on the outside - it looked very "Florida" to me. That's the best way I can describe it. I know this salon wasn't on South Beach, and no, I've never (physically) been to SoBe, but the buildings I've seen there look brightly colored. The pale yellow was nice, but the pink looked better (JMO).

Hair stylist is hardly a surprising career choice for an MTF trans person. (An FTM, maybe--all he'd do would be mullets.)

Now if she'd been on Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe making fertilizer or cleaning toilets, that'd be different.

I thought this was one of the funny freakin episodes of the show! The guy was soooo funny that even tabitha was having trouble keeping a straight face!

When he said to her that he didn't have professional standards, she tried to keep from laughing but failed!

when she painted the place that horrible yellow color, she said, "now it doesnt look like kindergarten" I thought yeah it does, instead of green, now it is yellow---- YUCK! Im glad he painted it!
