I Knew Eclectic Would Be Interesting

When I saw there was going to be an African-American salon featured, I knew Tabatha was out of her depth. LOL There was no way in hell she would be able to judge their work accurately because she doesn't do their kind of work. Good episode. We got to see a celebrity stylist (Kim Kimball) and techniques prevalently used in African-American salons. Most cultures have no idea what goes on with our hair.

"Burn, Hollywood, Burn!"- from the incomparable album "Fear of a Black Planet" by Public Enemy.

Well, at least she brought Kim along, that was smart. I'm glade they did it though. Most hair shows don't feature black hair, kinky or not.

I'm glad I got to see my old stylist, Andre Edwards, on tv. He's really good. He totally helped my hair after I did my own perm (such a bad, bad thing I did.lol). This was back in 2000. He gave me a great consultation and got my hair healthy.

home perms are a bad bad idea for white women too! LOL Glad to hear good things about the people we are watching... he really did seem to know what he was doing and was excited about the show and future.

I laughed so hard when I saw that stupid receptionist--- what the hell did she know about the services??? I was also glad that tabitha brought in reinforcements with kim--- cause she KNEW she was out of her league with black hair!
