Movie vs Book (by Clive Cussler)

I don't know if anyone else has read the book but it's so much better than this movie, in so many ways you wont even recognize the two as being the "same" story.

The book takes place in the ocean and there is far more drama and while I can understand the need to move the focus off the high seas due to production costs, etc. it changes the whole dynamic of the story as it was originally written.

If you're a fan of good books, this was one of the first Clive Cussler books I'd read, but found it quite a good read and very enjoyable, I know everyone reads at a different pace, but I powered through this book in about a day and a half, the suspense was great, and the story kept me flipping through the pages as good as any book I've read in the recent past. I was very impressed with all three of his books that I've read now, and look forward to more good reads in the future. And a nice thing is since he was a "new author" to me at least, there is aback log of written material so you won't have to wait for his next book to continue a good storyteller's craft on the page.
