Sony and Marvel Studios has a Contract that Is at Least 3 Solo MCU Films and at least 3 MCU Appearances in other MCU films , Therefor your entire post Is a GIANT FAIL as that Means there are at least a guaranteed 3 more MCU Iron Man films coming.....Epic fail on your part, do some god damn research


Problem #2....Venom is set to top out around 650 Million, Maybe Less....Meanwhile Spider-Man HC hit 870 Million With its Sequel on the way which Will almost certainly top 900 Million +

While Venom Is certainly a hit for the studio, Bottom line, It was no where near the Hit SPHC was and Its 2 MCU sequels Will be

Its a 100% concrete fact, Sony wont do a thing to change or mess up what they've got going with Marvel Studios for at least another 4 years and 3 more films...The Guaranteed reason is....They simply are not having the kinda of Success on their own that they are having and will continue to have under The MCU

Problem #3......Venom has nothing to do with the direction of future Spider-Man films....In The contract Sony signed with Marvel Studios, Kevin Fiege has complete control of The Production and Stories and direction of the films, Sony simply pays for them to be made....

Problem #4.......apparently Spider-Man's role in the MCU is about to change big time, he is not going to be "Iron Mans Sidekick" anymore.....and to your HORROR it has nothing to do with Venom, again Its 100% the decision of Kevin Fiege, Its about his characters ark and Its got to happen because Tony/IM is going to Die in Avengers 4.....Epic failure, Just Epic .....lol Sony and Venom literally has nothing to do with MCU spider-Man

Does that mean Sony will go back to making $250-300m Spider-Man movies? That's been their Achilles heel. If anything, Feige/MCU showed Sony how to make them cheaper which is what is guaranteeing Venom's success. So now Venom doesn't have to make $600m+ just to break even.

Homecoming being made for $100m less than the previous film guaranteed it would not fail. It broke even somewhere around $400m worldwide. Venom probably breaks even around $300m worldwide. Cut the remaining worldwide in half, and it's all profit for Sony. If they use it to ditch the formula and go back to making uber expensive superhero movies, then it's all for nothing.

While I'm glad Venom is doing well for Sony....do you really think they'd give up a sweetheart deal where they let Disney/Marvel do all the work and they just make money from movies that make a LOT of money?
