The message isn't really about religion

Please don't be put off by the religious aspect of the movie.
I am agnostic, struggling with religion and I thought this movie was amazing, and unlike any other movie I've seen.

Yes, there is a heavy dose of religion in this movie, but that's not really what it's about. It's about doing the right thing and being a good person, even if you have to sacrifice something for it. It's also about accepting people for who they are. You don't know what baggage someone else is carrying and what they've been through...so when you outcast someone or make fun of them, you might be their last straw.

At least that's what I took from it.

And if you haven't seen this movie, I'd rather you wouldn't comment about it.

are you happy now... or do you want another version?

Agreed! This movie was amazing. I think everyone should take the time to watch it regardless of where they stand religiously. You're right- it's about accepting people regardless of who they are and standing up for what's right! I'm so sick of seeing all these posts by people who say it's Christian propaganda, half of these people haven't even seen the film. I guess anytime a film is made with a positive message (or any film that doesn't promote sex, drugs, etc.) it's automatically Christian propaganda *rolls eyes*.
