Am I the only one who hated the girlfriend?

Yeah, I kind of disliked the girlfriend in the beginning because of how selfish she was. In my opinion, she didn't do all that good of a job being a girlfriend because she was just so self centered and wasn't sympathetic to how Jake felt over his once best friend's death. That was just low and selfish.

But at least Jake was a better person than she was, because he was there for her when she got pregnant with his child.

Well the main character in this movie wasn't much more sympathetic either. That is days after she already got pregnant, anyways.

I hated her from the beginning, too. Jake seemed so much better than her right from the start. I immediately disliked her because she asked him to ditch his friend for her, saying she only had one seat in her car if he knew what she meant, meaning his friend wasn't cool enough. No one should ask you to ditch your friends. If they can't see how important your friends are to you, then they aren't good friends themselves, and she proved that. Through out the movie she just got worse and worse for me. I couldn't stand how she didn't support him through his grief or through his need to be a part of that church. What kind of girl friend is that that wont encourage you to be a better person or to better yourself?
Is it just me or should Jake have just supported Amy through her pregnancy but gotten together with Andrea? I liked her. She was actually a good person.

Word I disliked her too. Would have been nice if the main character and the girl didn't end up together. She was selfish for sure.

But it's a just a movie, maybe the point was to frustrate watchers. I hated her too.
