Seemed like a paraphrase of a Shakespearian tragedy.

An interesting little movie that has many characters trying to be profound, without any mind-numbing philosophies. It meanders along with some characters able to spring back to health from looking long gone and some kicking the bucket just when they get some momentum. I thought the boy did a good job and had me convinced of his situation. Maybe the movie painted some kind of a picture of the problems encountered by early settlers and this has to be worth something. However, if you are in a depressed state, this movie is not the one to cheer you up.
