Thank God for Antideppresants!

I kept waiting for so someone...anyone...to rescue this poor child. This was the most depressing movie I've seen in forever. Although it does make me happy that our kids and grandkids have known so much love in their lives.
Our daughter has a degree in Psychology, and has worked in several childrens' homes/treatment centers. Some of the things she told me about these kids were past heartbreaking. Children should feel treasured, cherished, every minute of the day. That this kind of problem even exists is tragic.
Go and hug your child, grandie, nephew, niece, etc right now. It can only do good.
Whew! I need to watch something funny!!

This movie affected me very deeply, too. I wish I could give all of these children a safe and loving home, if only I were wealthy enough to do so. Very disturbing that children live like this all over the world, just the thought keeps me awake at night. I never spare a moment to tell my daughter how special and loved she is and I mean every single word.
