Molly/Lucy was the perfect choice for the role. You could see it in her face as she tried to make sense of her world but having to internalize everything, especially in the final scene when she looks straight into the camera and you can see a damaged heart trying not to break.

I can empathize - I went through the same thing when I was young and now that I'm 50-plus years, the pain is still fresh and I still feel I'm 'unloved'.
