Meh, not so much.

I remember the original and liking it rather well. Of course, that was 22 years ago, when I still had some spring in my step and didn't expect too much from films in the way of effects.

Now comes this steaming turd and tries to make me enjoy it as much as the original. Fail.

This is another one of those cases where 30-somethings are trying to play 18, 19 and 20 year olds and don't even remotely look the part. Edward Furlong could be a new Batman or Dick Tracy villain: "The Mumbler." I'm not impressed at all by his acting.

I felt the story took way too long to develop into any action, and the director seemed too wrapped up in the college party scene. Some of the effects and makeup were good and kept my attention once they finally got going.

I'm sorry, but I can't give this more than a 2.

Strangely, usually I hate 30-somethings who play teenagers, but that wasn't even the worst thing about this movie!

I thought it was very "meh". I didn't love or hate it. I just kind of sat there and felt nothing.

"Hey! Ladies! That was fun!"
